2016 world tour, a fantastic year for Smart Cities

6 continents - 15 cities - 6 months

2105 was definitely a busy year and it was a fantastic for my career in Smart Cities field. Beside have started my doctorate in Holland, I have also been invited for several important congresses as speaker: IV Icities Forum, in Curitiba | Brazil; Chile Digital 2015, in Santiago | Chile and the most important one for my career, The World Smart City Expo and Congress 2015, the world biggest event for Smart Cities, last November in Barcelona | Spain.

I have also been assigned to two important positions: Advisor for the World e-Governments Organization of Cities and Local Governments (WeGO), with headquarters in Seoul \ South Korea and member of the advisory board of Leading Cities, a NGO located in Boston | USA. Both directly related to Smart Cities projects worldwide. And to end the year in the best way, I had my name granted in the World TOP 25 Smart City consultant list of LinkedIn.

For 2016 I have high expectations. I have already been confirmed for 13 world events  just for the 1st semester. Boston, Mumbai, Singapore, London, Frankfurt, Santa Catarina, Melbourne, Kuala Lumpur, London, Tampere, New Delhi, Beijing and Johannesburg will be the cities covered from January to June, and there are more to come! 6 continents, 12 cities, 6 months , a fantastic world road tour. And this time it will not be just speeches, I will try my best to combine these trips with the opportunity to cooperate with local universities as visiting professor and exchange experiences with local young vibrant professionals.
