HR is undergoing a lot of changes, most of the transactions related work will go away with the use of technology and AI. Talent Acquisition and management are one big area where AI can help in identifying suitable candidates, managing the applicant tracking and predicting the performance & behaviour of the shortlisted candidates. Many Indian companies especially large corporates in technology, banking and ITES sector have started using AI-based Chatbots to screen candidates and manage talent. The scale of use is still very low and more of experimental in nature. I think it will take another 2 years for AI to learn the knowledge/behaviour pattern to provide higher predictive results.
