My role is to build social elements into traditional learning interventions that add to the 70% of learning outside the formal learning. It involves working with the nine Academies within Philips, both functional and business related- and working with them to create learning communities and educating functional trainers on usage of social tools in managing these communities.
In the earlier role I was responsible for leading Philips India’s employer branding initiative leveraging digital media and social platforms. Mentored the CEO, HR Head and Head of Strategy on understanding digital platforms. Trained the IT function and HR function on effectively leveraging social platforms. Grew organic Facebook fans from 2000 to 10,000 in a year. Led and managed campus focused campaigns as well as events to showcase thought leadership events for Philips.
